MISSIONS IS IMPORTANT!

Missions at First Baptist Church is a big part of our outreach. We give over twenty percent of our total income to missions and support a number of missionaries on a regular monthly basis as well as support missionary outreach in evangelism. Our church has a Missions Committee that works with the Pastor and the missionaries we support, to keep the church informed of Missions. We also seek to increase our missions budget each year, adding new missionaries and projects. If you visit our church you will find a great number of flags in our sanctuary. All the missionaries we support are represented by a flag and plaque telling the country or area they minister. Each Sunday we have a "Missionary of the Week" and pray for that missionary as well as work to contact them for special needs during their week.

Meet our Missionary Family:
